The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau invites travelers to trade screen time for sunshine and unforgettable outdoor adventures with the launch of Summer Nature Navigators.
Just in time for July's Parks and Recreation Month, the new seasonal program encourages families and friends to experience Southwest Florida's natural wonders through hands-on activities and educational experiences. Available as a free digital pass, participants can unlock exclusive offers and qualify for prizes while discovering the beaches, waterways and preserves that define the Fort Myers area.
“Fort Myers has always been a place where nature and adventure go hand in hand,” said Tamara Pigott, Executive Director of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. “Summer Nature Navigators brings together many of the experiences that make our destination unique, giving families a fun and rewarding way to explore, learn and appreciate the natural beauty and wildlife in our area while creating lasting memories.”
The program features more than 35 participating attractions and experiences, including J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Adventures in Paradise Cruises, the Tom Allen Memorial Butterfly House at Rotary Park and Manatee Park.
To help local explorers find their ideal adventure, the destination also launched the Family Fun Quiz, an interactive tool that matches participants with personalized recommendations based on their interests, preferences and vacation style.
Every stop along the way brings new opportunities to earn rewards. Passholders receive points each time they visit a participating location, with prizes available beginning at 100 points.
Those who reach 500 points will be eligible to enter a drawing for the grand prize package, featuring day passes to both Pink Shell Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach and Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, along with a guided manatee eco tour. Prize selections are available in limited quantities and are subject to change based on availability.
In addition to earning points, passholders can unlock exclusive offers from participating partners including 10% off Kayak Excursions and 30% off rentals with Manatee Kayaking Company.
The pass is available now through Sept. 13, 2026, and prizes are redeemable through September 30, 2026. For more information or to sign up for the Summer Nature Navigators pass, visit https://www.visitfortmyers.com/summer-nature-navigators.
