Hôtel du Couvent was ranked among the world’s finest establishments by The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 in London. The event, held at Old Billingsgate, brought together leading names in international hospitality to celebrate exceptional experiences across six continents.

Hôtel du Couvent is the result of a meticulous restoration of a 17th-century convent, classified as a historic monument since 1989. Its 88 rooms and suites, ranging from 23 to 165 m², are thoughtfully decorated with bespoke furniture, antiques, and historic artworks. Some feature a dining room and kitchen, while others boast a private garden or terrace overlooking the Cour des Orangers.

The historic building is organized around its terraced gardens, planted with olive trees, lemon trees, herbs, and wildflowers. The hotel also offers thermal baths inspired by ancient traditions, including an 18-meter open-air pool and a 20-meter heated outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The cuisine at Hôtel du Couvent celebrates Niçoise tradition, highlighting seasonal produce delivered daily from the hotel’s own farm, while bread is baked on-site in the convent bakery. A dedicated team works daily to preserve this heritage, welcome and care for guests, alongside Myriam Kournaf Lambert and Valéry Grego, who initiated the project.
